 My work is concerned with the creation of environments; places &  spaces that may consist of a single room, area in the home,  public  space, outdoor site, or simply an individual artwork in a room that  inspires a vital, internal place of calm.

I find myself struggling to hold on to a way of seeing and experiencing life that is increasingly being overrun by the fast-paced demands of modern life. In my work, I hope to inspire a way of seeing that encourages us to observe that which is subtle, delicate, and ever-changing. By capturing the more transient and ephemeral qualities of life, I hope to deepen our appreciation for the exquisite beauty found in the natural world and to focus on that which is both life and art to me.
