While still under construction, I was asked to create two large-scale works to be installed in the new Redding City Hall. After evaluating the architectural design of the interior and samples of color and materials to be used, my objective was to create two works that would be fully integrated into their environment. Through the use of these design elements, I was able to create two three-dimensional works that enhance rather than dominate the space. The size of these constructs was determined by the location of their placement and by the desires of the project's committee.
